More about me…
I started out my career in both Marketing and Key Account Management within the Food industry gathering a huge commercial awareness and experience in FMCG channel management , marketing and the retail, foodservice & wholesale trade.
Next… I spent a good chunk of 10 years living in the U.K. working and travelling the Northern Hemisphere so I’m well placed to give business advice from an international and New Zealand perspective. I spent a number of years in Food, Home and Restaurant marketing and celebrity-customer events at Selfridges&Co London, one of the most extraordinary department stores in the world. This immersed me into the world of creating strong brand collaborations and enhanced partnership marketing expertise working alongside some of the coolest brands running marketing campaigns, large scale promotions, in-store events, development of collateral, product photoshoots, launch of Selfridges hampers business, celebrity book launch signings, press events, merchandising strategy and new product launches! I moved to sunny Cornwall to head up marketing for one of the largest photography companies in Europe, building the marketing and creative team, driving business innovation through NPD and powerful marketing.
Since settling back in NZ in 2012… I’ve worked in the film Industry marketing and developing promotional partnerships for theatrical film releases like The Hobbit, Lego Movie, The Great Gatsby, Batman Franchise; built a new home in Auckland, had two beautiful girls and developed Design Your Home NZ Interior trends blog and more recently setup OB Marketing – Marketing Coach services working with a small group of clients.
